Andi Peters shows off 'guns' as Toni Collette speaks out
Good Morning Britain’s Andi Peters hit back at his “rude” co-star Ben Shephard after the ITV host took a swipe at his age.
Charlotte Hawkins and Ben were at the helm of Good Morning Britain on Friday as the show returned to its usual slot following Women’s World Cup coverage earlier this week.
Everyone remembered it was Andi’s birthday this weekend and they wanted to mark the occasion with a cake on the ITV programme.
“Andi is doing such lovely things for everybody, giving away the competition prize, so we have got a lovely thing for you now,” Ben explained.
Looking confused, Andi looked around the studio as Ben added: “Because it’s your birthday tomorrow.”

All of a sudden, a birthday-themed graphic appeared on the screen behind Ben and Charlotte before birthday music started playing.
Weather correspondent Laura Tobin walked into shot wearing a birthday hat and carrying a cake.
However, things took an awkward turn when Ben revealed Andi’s “real age” and he was not happy about it.

“How old are you going to be?” Ben probed, before adding: “58?”
An annoyed Andi hit back at Ben’s suggestion, telling him: “58?! You’re so rude!”
He then laughed off Ben’s comment and thanked everyone for the birthday cake.
The Chelsea-born presenter will be turning 53 years old tomorrow (Saturday, July 29).
Andi did not reveal how he was celebrating his birthday over the weekend.
Later on in the show, Ben joked about Andi having a “sugar rush” after eating cake on the ITV programme.
Andi laughed and agreed the sugar had put a spring in his step as he looked forward to his big day.
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays between 6am and 9am on ITV and ITVX.
