CELEBRITY Masterchef host John Torode has revealed a striking new look after cruel jibes about his appearance on the show.
The Australian-born star showed off his chopped locks in a smiling picture on social media.
It comes after the 56-year-old was berated for his "90s boyband hair" on the BBC cooking competition.
John's actress wife Lisa Faulkner proudly shared the makeover snap on her Instagram page.
Lisa, who won Celebrity MasterChef in 2010, married John in 2019.
She captioned the image: "My Husband @johntorodecooks has finally had a haircut and he looks so bloody handsome I had to put him on my grid!! Woo hoo!
"Thank you @cilerpeksah_hairstylist he looks blooming gorgeous ?".
And fans seemed to share her view, as they rushed to comment on her grid.
"Looks 10 yrs younger ??," said one.
Another admitted: "I’ve been watching masterchef and saying to my other half ‘John really needs a haircut’".
A third wrote: "Thank god them curtains have gone ???".
A fourth sighed: "Thank the Lord! About time! ?".
It was a complete turnaround after viewers were more than vocal about the celebrity cook's long hair.
John is currently presenting the show alongside Gregg Wallace with the likes of Katie Price, Joe Swash and Duncan James taking part.
Earlier this month as the show aired, one person watching the programme wrote on Twitter: "John often looks like he washes his hair in a fryer. #CelebrityMasterChef".
Another asked: "What on earth has John Torode done to his hair? Don’t have to ask that about Greg Wallace."
A third commented: "John torode's 90s boyband hair is awful #curtains".
