DAWN French has revealed an extreme hair transformation, describing her new look as the 'real me'.
The actress announced she was embracing going grey as she showed off her freshly styled undercut.
Dawn, 63, had a huge smile on her face as she shared pictures of her headturning hairstyle on social media.
The first image showed a light shade of brown instead of her usual dark locks, before the second revealed a salt and pepper grey undercut.
On Instagram she captioned the snaps: "Going lighter bit by bit to happily welcome the grey… with an undercut surprise..!
"Hello there woman in her 60s…."
While on Twitter the Vicar of Dibley star added: "Going lighter to welcome the grey… with an undercut surprise of real me… Hello there!"
And her fans couldn't get enough of the change, with her celeb pals also rushing to signal their approval.
"Yes Dawn!!! ?," praised presenter Emma Willis.
While Ruth Langsford commented: "LOVE the undercut!! Grey is the new blonde!"
First Date's Fred Sirieix gushed: "Grey is a lovely colour."
"Forever beautiful," added Carol Vorderman.
Earlier this month, Dawn hit out at a fake diet advert using her weight loss pictures.
The actress declared the advert was "b*****ks" as she shared a screengrab on Twitter.
"Keto lies…." she tweeted.
The fake advert claimed Dawn lost 6.4st in five months using a keto diet and no exercise.
It included a fake quote from the comedian saying: "All I can say is it works!"
Dawn has previously spoken about losing seven stone.
However, after shedding the weight through healthy eating and exercise in 2014, she made it clear she did not want to become a poster girl for dieting.
