Everything old is new again this week on Days of Our Lives. First up, Marlena gets possessed — and she finds out what the devil has in store for her. Plus, Rafe and Nicole finally give in to their passions. And more drama and scandal explodes in Salem. What awaits us on this week’s episodes?

Marlena’s possession is in full swing on the Oct. 12 episode of ‘Days of Our Lives’
The Days of Our Lives storyline about Marlena’s possession has been a popular one for many years. Every October, around Halloween, Dr. Marlena Evans gets possessed by the devil. And, usually, the possession results in an exorcism or something similar.
According to Soaps @ SheKnows, fans can expect the Oct. 11 episode to be the first sign of trouble in the air. The devil will ask Marlena to do something “truly awful.” And she’s finally going to be forced to bend to his will.
But on Oct. 12, Marlena’s possession will be in full swing. So much so, in fact, that Johnny’s project will be completely rewritten to focus on Marlena’s possession. John already has his reservations about Johnny’s project. But how is he going to react when the project completely changes focus? And when Marlena finds out what the devil really wants from her, how far will she go to keep him satisfied?
Rafe and Nicole may finally give in to their passions on Oct. 15
Another Days of Our Lives storyline that is finally getting some traction is the Rafe and Nicole storyline. For the past few weeks, it’s been obvious that Rafe and Nicole clearly feel like they’re more than just friends. This has made Ava — Rafe’s girlfriend — feel more than left out in the cold. And things between Rafe and Ava have been less-than-favorable thanks to this tension.
But on Friday, Oct. 15, the spoilers from Fame10 suggest that Rafe and Nicole will finally admit to one another what the rest of us have known all along. Rafe isn’t exactly thrilled that Nicole has a new man, even though he claims he’s happy for his “bestie.” Nicole, meanwhile, has already admitted that she’s staying away from Rafe to save his own life. (She already knows that Ava, at her heart, is a Vitale mafia princess.)
The heart wants what the heart wants, though. And Rafe and Nicole seem to want each other.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Salem
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers this week focus on all the “super-couples” that fans have grown to know and love. On Oct. 12, Ben will finally tell Ciara that he’s ready to become a father, against all odds and reservations. Cin shippers will be thrilled to know that Ben and Ciara will finally have a baby. (And we speculate that it’s going to be a girl!)
Meanwhile, Chad and Abby look like they’re finally going to get it together. But, on Oct. 14, EJ will blindside “Chabby” with a new revelation. How will Chad react to this?
And finally, Philip is really going to blow a gasket when he finds Chloe in Brady’s arms on Oct. 15. Something tells us that Chloe wouldn’t like Philip when he’s angry.
