EastEnders: Lily Slater gives birth to a baby daughter
EastEnders’ Kat Slater (played by Jessie Wallace) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) are set to go through a rocky patch in their relationship, which could be saved by their quick wedding.
Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and in an unlikely twist confided in Phil, asking him not to tell Kat.
However, official spoilers sees Phil accidentally blurts out about Alfie’s diagnosis which lands him in serious trouble with Kat, straining their relationship.
In upcoming scenes, Phil Mitchel sheepishly returns home to Kat after their argument, who is angry he stayed out all night.
Over lunch, he promises to be straight with her from now on but after a coy Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit) passes, he rushes off.

After Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) lets the boys down, Kat makes a decision and books the registry office.
To her luck, it has a cancellation for next week, which she snaps up in a hurry so that she can finally marry Phil.
In the Vic, excited about her recent booking, Kat announces she and Phil will marry next week and leaves the residents shocked but thrilled at the news.
Has Kat rushed into marrying Phil over fears of losing Alfie to his prostate cancer? Is Phil hiding another secret after rushing away when spotting Emma? Has he been unfaithful?

How will Alfie feel when he finds out the love of his life is finally getting married?
Kat and Alfie have had a rocky past and last year, Alfie returned to Walford in the hopes of winning back Kat and getting their family back together.
However, he was put straight by Kat who made it clear she loved Phil and wanted to be with him.
Speaking about Alfie’s storyline, EastEnders executive producer Chris Clenshaw said: “When we first embarked on this storyline we knew it was imperative that we worked alongside Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support to take on and accurately portray such an emotional and pivotal storyline for Alfie, and one that many viewers may relate to.”
