IT'S not a great time for Hayley Slater in EastEnders next week when her mum Bev turns up in Walford and leaves the expectant mother mortified by her actions.
The week actually starts well for Hayley, Katie Jarvis, despite being freaked out by the amount of work she sees her cousin Stacey doing when her three kids get stricken down with a sickness bug.
Pregnant Hayley bonds with fellow mum-to-be Kim Fox as they head off to their antenatal class together.
But the two women decide against going and instead chat over their upcoming births.
Hayley is pleased to have made a friend but her good mood is short-lived when she spots a blast from her past – her mum Bev, played by This Country star Ashley Maguire.
Bev gets a frosty reception when she arrives at the Slater house as both Hayley and Kat tell her to get lost.
Hayley is left furious when she discovers it was Jean who contacted Bev in the first place.
But she softens a little when Jean hands her some flowers from Bev and decides to listen to what her mum has to say.
Later Hayley and Bev head over to the E20 – where her mum reveals why she really came – and it’s not what Hayley wants to hear.
She’s livid and realises her mum hasn’t changed a bit. The pair have a huge row and Bev storms off into a cab.

But as she makes to leave, Hayley cries out to her in pain, convinced she’s losing the baby.
Despite her daughter being in pain and needing help, Bev makes the decision to drive off, leaving Hayley helpless.
