Emmerdale fans think they have worked out a sinister twist involving Rhona Goskirk's mother Mary on the ITV soap.
Only recently, Mary, played by EastEnders star Louise Jameson, "burst onto the scene" and has already ruffled feathers in the village.
Soap fans have been desperate to know more information about Rhona's mum Mary and some viewers think they have figured out the character's true reason for being in the village.
Only recently, Pierce Harris ' son Marcus Dean told Rhona that his late father had left her a large amount of money in his will as she refused to touch a penny of it.

Taking to Twitter, soap fans predicted that Mary could be after Rhona's cash, with one fan predicting: "I wonder if Mary is after Rhona's money? #Emmerdale."
To which a different account pointed out: "It's possible that Mary is after Rhona's money, but it's also possible that she just wants to be friends."
While another soap watcher questioned of Mary: "I take it Rhona’s mum has lost everything and has nowhere to go #Emmerdale."
It comes after the hit ITV soap teased: "No nonsense Mary has a strained relationship with her daughter who has always felt she was never good enough for her mother.
"Though Mary will prove a hit with everyone she meets in the village, will she be able to repair her broken relationship with Rhona? Can they put the past behind them and begin to cherish the fact they are mother and daughter?
"With Mary’s acerbic wit and stubbornness, Rhona knows there won’t be a dull moment whilst her domineering mother is around and it’s only a matter of time before she starts ruffling feathers in the village.
"But how long before unsettled Rhona finds out the real reason behind her mother’s arrival?"
Soap fans have instantly recognised Mary actress Louise from EastEnders, where she played Rosa Di Marco from 1998 until 2000.
The talented star also appeared in Doctor Who as Leela from 1977 to 1978 and Doc Martin as Eleanor Glasson in 2011.
And this isn't Louise's first time in Emmerdale as she previously played Sharon Crossthwaite in 1973.
