Emmerdale spoilers see Aaron Dingle exit the village next week as he disowns his mother Chas following sister Liv Flaherty's heartbreaking death.
Only recently, Aaron, who learnt of Chas' affair with Al Chapman, blamed his mother for Liv's death as she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Despite claiming to have ended her affair, Chas had secretly met up with Al in the village during the storm where she was injured by flying debris and rushed to hospital.
As such, Paddy Kirk and Aaron wanted to see her in hospital as Liv, along with Vinny Dingle, headed to The Woolpack to look after Chas' daughter Eve.
However, in a cruel twist of fate, while making their way to the pub, Vinny and Liv were crushed by a flying caravan during the storm, which killed the latter.
Blaming his mother for Liv's death, as her getting injured while meeting Al meant Liv had to leave the house during the storm to babysit Eve, resulting in her being killed.
Only recently, Chas, who is worried that Aaron will spill her secret affair, has pretended to have ended things and even emotionally blackmailed her son into backing down, encouraging him to leave the village.
In upcoming scenes next week, Aaron gets ready to leave for good and says his goodbyes to Vinny and Paddy.
And instead of trying to resolve things with Aaron ahead of his exit, Chas instead questions him on what he's revealed as she worries about her affair being exposed.
Furious by her selfish behaviour, Aaron coldly cuts off any future the two of them might have.
Elsewhere next week, Cain Dingle and Al get into a violent gun showdown after the latter's affair with Chas is exposed.
In a dramatic trailer, it sees Cain discover his sister Chas' burner phone, which has a string of messages revealing her affair, as he calls the number to which Al answers: "Chas, you there?"
It then cuts to Cain holding Al hostage with a gun as he warns: "You're not going to be seeing her again" as Al replies: "Why? What you going to do? You've been hit too many times."
The teaser cuts to the two men fighting before they both look over to the shotgun and both attempt to reach it before a blast goes off. It's unclear who has shot who..
While Emmerdale teases over the explosive trailer: "The storm isn't over…"
