Gogglebox's Giles and Mary look completely unrecognisable in a set of fresh-faced modelling snaps from around 40 years ago.
Fans were quick to compare the much-loved Channel 4 duo to famous music icons, while others swooned over how loved up they looked.
In the unearthed throwback snap when when the pair were around 21 years of age, Mary was a model at the time and Giles was studying at Wimbledon School of Art.
Mary can be seen gazing into her beau's eyes as the couple strike a series of poses for the camera – looking wistful, loved-up and just like a pair of music icons according to fans.
The throwback snaps were posted on Giles' Instagram page, and they were captioned: "Throwback shots, Giles and Mary, circa 1986."
One fan likened Mary to two music icons: "Mary is the perfect 50/50 of Kate Bush and Stevie Nicks," while another said that Giles looks like: "Hugh Grant crossed with Tom Cruise."
Somebody else said: "Beautiful young couple. And, a bit of Bowie thrown in," comparing Giles to David Bowie.
Chiming in, one person said: "Thought that’s was David Bowie for a moment @giles__wood."
Other followers were quick to comment on how loved up the couple looked, with one writing: "Wonderful photo, I think you're both awesome people your love shines."
Another then added: "Beautiful pictures … pure love in Mary’s eyes as she looks at Giles."
The unearthed set of throwback snaps came as Mary confused RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne for Katie Price in an epic blunder that left fans in hysterics on last night's instalment of Gogglebox (March 4).
During Friday night's episode of the hit Channel 4 programme, Mary and Giles were tuning into Celebrity Hunted – a programme that stars drag queen The Vivienne.
Watching the popular programme, when the winner of Drag Race UK appeared on the screen Mary turned to Giles and said: "Is that Katie Price, the one on the left?"
Giles said: "No," to which Mary replied: "But she gets her face redone every so often."
"Well, that might be her new face," Giles suggested.
Fans were quick to take to Twitter to talk about the blunder, with many taken aback by the mix up.
"Not Mary from Gogglebox confusing The Vivienne for Katie Price," one viewer penned on Twitter.
Another said: "Gogglebox providing a much needed hour of escapism and laughter this week. Cracking up at Mary confusing The Vivienne with Katie Price."
