Eamonn Holmes has returned home from hospital after struggling with chronic "pain he's never experienced in his life".
The This Morning presenter said he "needs to find out what's causing him pain all over his body" and has no diagnosis as of yet but is waiting on test results.
Why was Eamonn Holmes in hospital?
Eamonn has spoke at length recently about his encounters with chronic pain.
The television personality uploaded a photo to social media captioned "At hospital… pain like I've never experienced in my life, Need to find out what's causing this. Wish me well."
The image showed Holmes sat in what appeared to be a waiting room with a face covering on.
Hours later, Holmes kept his fans up to date with his condition by tweeting that he'll be able to have a "clearer picture of what's causing the pain" shortly. "Like so many of you, I've lived with variations of chronic pain for years," he added.
How is Eamon Holmes doing?
He opted to put a positive spin on proceedings, claiming: "In the meantime I am proud that my experience has given you a voice and I'm humbled by your various and different experiences and your kindness to me."
He went on to add: "If between us we can get more solutions more understanding and more resources directed towards [chronic pain] then that would be a result."
The presenter did quash any fears that his chronic pain may rule him out of returning to This Morning over the Easter break to fulfil his presenting duties alongside wife Ruth Langsford.
Holmes even said he hopes that he'll be able to "discuss the subject" with viewers on the show.
Eamonn was inundated with well-wishes from fans and fellow celebs alike, including Joe Swash who replied to his tweet with: "Me and Stacey love you mate xx" while actor Larry Lamb also responded – "Certainly do mate [need answers].. you’re in the best of hands, I’m certain."
Fellow TV presenter Lorraine Kelly expressed her sincere well-wishes on her programme, stating:
