Kanye West has been in the media spotlight for decades, whether it be because of his chart-topping music, his marriage to Kim Kardashian or his attempt to become the President of the United States. So how many episodes are going to be in the upcoming docu-series? Express.co.uk has everything you need to know to watch jeen-yuhs.
According to the Urban Dictionary, jeen-yuhs is is the slang way of pronouncing “Genius”.
The description for this Netflix series says that it will offer “an intimate portrait of West as he builds his way from singer to businessman and becomes a global brand”.
Unseen archival footage is going to feature throughout the show, giving fans an insight into the life and career of the rapper.
There are going to be a few famous faces popping up as well when it does begin.
As well as Kanye himself, occasional collaborator and fellow rapper Jay-Z is going to make an appearance.
Going by the trailer, there will be some moments with musician Pharrell Williams as well.
His soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian isn’t believed to be in the show but one of their three daughters is briefly featured in the teaser.
So some elements of his family life are expected to be part of jeen-yuhs.
How many episodes are in Kanye West docu-series jeen-yuhs?
Jeen-yuhs is going to be made of up three episodes in total on Netflix.
In fact, the official name of the docu-series is jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, giving the game away on how many instalments fans can expect.
Jeen-yuhs will be making its big debut on Wednesday, February 16, on the streaming service.
But as teased in the official trailer, this is going to be a “three-week event”.

So the entire season isn’t going to be ready for subscribers to binge-watch this week.
Instead, a new episode will be released over the next few weeks, so the entire boxset is going to be out by Wednesday, March 2.
The documentary was made by directing partners Coodie and Chike who are known for creating Benji in 2012 which was about the tragic death of a high school basketball player.
They are also responsible for directing Kanye’s music video Through the Wire.
Each episode will focus on a particular area of Kanye’s life over the past two decades.
The first is going to revolve around his career in the music and fashion industry, while the second talks of the death of his mum Donda West in 2007.
The final instalment goes into the rapper’s unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign.
Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy will premiere on Wednesday, February 16, on Netflix.
