Autumn spells the beginning of a new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and fans are already trying to work out which famous faces might be heading to the Australian jungle.
While no official names have been confirmed yet, the rumour mill is whirling with a mixture of potential celebrities.
Express.co.uk has rounded up a list of names doing the rounds for this year’s series of the ITV favourite.
From soap stars to former Prime Ministers, the speculated line-up this year is extremely varied.
After Lioness Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle last year, who might be following in her footsteps this series?
Alex Beresford
Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford recently took part in this year’s celebrity edition of Race Across the World.
He’s also talked about potentially taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in the past.
Speaking to The Mirror, he stated: “Out of all the shows, I would love to do the jungle.”
Could he be following in co-star Richard Madeley’s footsteps by joining the hit ITV series?

Love Island star Olivia Atwood was forced to leave last year’s I’m A Celebrity after just one day after a blood test found she was dangerously anaemic.
The reality show star insisted she felt “fine” but the producers didn’t want to take any risks and she was forced to leave the show.
She said soon after that she would “love” to return for a new series – could she try again this year?
Alan Halsall
Most I’m A Celebrity series contain at least one Coronation Street star, and word on the rumour mill is Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the soap, could be this year’s.
Speaking to The Sun, a source stated: “Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he’s in talks to join their 2023 cast.”
Recent Corrie stars who have taken part include Kirk Sutherland star Andy Whyment, Steve McFadden’s Simon Gregson and Liz McDonald actress Beverley Callard.
Sam Thompson
Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson is also among the rumoured contestants.
The 31-year-old has taken part in Celebrity Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Coach Trip, so is certainly no stranger to reality shows.
Furthermore, his girlfriend, Love Island star Zara McDermott, is currently taking part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
A source told The Sun: “Sam is a great signing because he has a huge fan base and a funny, self-deprecating personality.
“It will be difficult if Zara is still on Strictly as she will be too busy to head out to the jungle to support him.
“While it might put a bit of pressure on their relationship, it’s a huge year for them.”
Denise van Outen
Denise might be gearing up to join this year’s celebs in the Australian jungle.
The presenter stated she has been asked before to take part and told The Sun: “I will do it at some point.
“I think I’m a Celebrity for my 50th birthday would be something nice to do.”
Denise turns 50 next year, so could she use that as an excuse to agree to participate in this year’s series?
Liz Truss
Former Prime Minster Liz Truss is also a contender after former Health Secretary Matt Hancock shocked fans by taking part in last year’s series.
A source reportedly told The Sun: “High-level politicians are virtually guaranteed to create controversy in the camp – which equates to compulsive viewing for fans at home.”
However, according to the Independent, Truss’s press secretary said recently: “Liz has not been approached about appearing on the next series of I’m a Celeb. Even if she were approached, the answer would be a firm no.”
Danny Cipriani
Rugby star Danny Cipriani could be following in Mike Tindall’s footsteps by taking part in this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
According to the Daily Mail, a source labelled him “one of the most exciting signings for this series.”
Could Danny be this year’s sporting legend in camp?
Josie Gibson
This Morning favourite Josie Gibson could be swapping the studio for the jungle.
According to the Independent, producers are “determined” to sign her up for the popular show.
The presenter recently found herself a more frequent face on the ITV magazine show following Phillip Schofield’s departure.
Natalie Cassidy
EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy is one of the soap’s best-known faces, having played Sonia Fowler for three decades.
She’s also taken part in a few reality shows herself, having starred in Strictly Come Dancing and Big Brother.
Speaking OK! Magazine, Natalie confirmed she would be up for more reality shows, stating: “I never say never to anything.
“If I end up in the jungle one time, you know that I’m paying my mortgage!”
