I’m A Celeb’s Frankie Bridge admits she’s ‘scared of most things’ ahead of show

Frankie Bridge has revealed she's "scared of most things" ahead of entering Gwrych castle for I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The 32 year old explained that she wants to "push" herself despite having a phobia of spiders, ketchup and being a fussy eater in general.

Sharing the many things she's afraid of ahead of her stint on the popular ITV competition show, Frankie said: "I think people will be surprised to see me doing I’m A Celebrity and I am scared of most things, but I really want to push myself and show a side people have not seen before."

She continued: "I’m scared of rats, I am a fussy eater and I have a bit of a phobia of ketchup, so a pint of penis terrifies me!"

Frankie described the food challenges usually seen on I'm A Celeb as her "idea of hell" and went on to share her hatred of being trapped in small spaces – which "is likely to happen".

The TV presenter admitted that the whole idea of taking part on the show even "makes me go, '‘Why the hell are you doing it?’ And so that is exactly why I am doing it!”

Frankie's former professional footballer husband Wayne, 41, who she shares sons Parker, nine, and Carter, six, with, previously starred on the show in 2016.

Former The Saturdays singer Frankie, who recently stunned in a black figure-hugging gown at the Pride of Britain awards, explained that her other half can't wait to see how she fares in the castle after his own experience.

"Ever since Wayne took part, he has been desperate for me to do it too and he can’t wait to watch me squirm and scream!" she explained.

The TV personality continued: "My kids are still quite young, and they still think I am quite cool – so there is a very small window for them to watch it and not be embarrassed! I feel now is the time. I love the show so much too.”

Wayne's only advice to Frankie ahead of her stint on the show is to "be myself, not over think things and have fun".

Despite being excited and terrified about her time taking part in Bush Tucker trials, Frankie said it will be tough to be away from her children fo so long.
