Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) was last seen in 2018 in Emmerdale, but could he be returning to the village soon after Adam Thomas tweeted a clue?
Adam’s time in the village saw him involved in a number of different storylines, but during his final few months, he decided to hand himself into prison for Emma Barton’s murder in an attempt to save Moira (Natalie J Robb), her actual murderer.
On the day of Adam’s sentencing, Aaron (Danny Miller) and Cain (Jeff Hordley) ambushed the prison van and broke him out.
They took Adam to the docks and provide him with money a new passport, and told him to get on a ship and go to Amsterdam and then France where a friend of Aaron’s would provide him with work.
Adam Thomas posted a tweet saying ‘can’t remember the last time I picked up a script…Time to get back’ leaving many fans responding, curious as to whether Adam is reading a new Emmerdale script for a return as Adam Barton.
Could he be returning in the coming months?
