Katie Price hits out at trolls who claim she's 'not a real woman' after so much plastic surgery, insisting she's 'proud of her body – scars and all'

KATIE Price has hit back at trolls who claimed she shouldn't be promoting body image and confidence after having so much plastic surgery, insisting she's "proud" of her appearance.

The former glamour model, 38, has had more than £50,000 of plastic surgery in the past, but said she loves her body – scars and all.

Speaking in a VT on Loose Women today, Katie insisted: "I'm proud to support this campaign because I have as much right to own my body story as anyone.

"I've had five kids, lots of surgery, and my body has scars on it.

"But I've always been open about it, it's my body and my body story. I'm happy with my body scars and all."

She has always been very open about her love of plastic surgery, and it thought to have spent more than £50,000 on different procedures.

She previously said: “I can tell you now that I am not addicted to surgery, I’ve only had my boobs, lip, nose and teeth.

“But then I have Botox and fillers. It’s not anything major is it?”

She previously revealed that she had ELEVEN boob jobs in one year after wanting further breast surgery to “look good” for a polo event.

Speaking on Katie Price’s Pony Club, the star admitted that she had been under the knife to operate on her ever increasing and decreasing boobs a lot more than usual.

She said: “I’m having surgery because I want my boobs to look good for this polo event. I haven’t actually had them done that many times but this past year, eleven times.”

And despite being a regular on her surgeon’s table in Brussels, there are still elements of surgery that make her nervous.

“The day of the surgery I just get really nervous, they put so many needles in me that’s the only thing I hate. Then once it’s in you get that nice little cocktail.”
