KIERAN Hayler and his fiancee Michelle Penticost have revealed the very unusual for their newborn son, which has a surprising connection to Harry Potter.
The couple, who welcomed their first child together earlier this month, have named the latest addition to their blended family Apollo Phoenix Hayler.
Discussing the choice of name 34-year-old Kieran, who was previously married to Katie Price, tole new! magazine: “I quite like space names and Apollo was a Greek God and I like that it’s a strong character.
“Phoenix is a constellation of stars and it’s also the bird that keeps being reborn. Like in Harry Potter , the bird dies and then rises from the flames. Together, it hopefully means he’s invincible.”
Kieran is already dad to Bunny, six, and Jett, seven, with Katie, while Michelle is mum to Valentino from a previous relationship.
The former stripper went on to reveal he hadn’t heard from his ex wife following the birth, saying: “No, nothing like that. I don’t expect it. She’s got her own life and I’ve got mine. The only thing we share is the children.”
But he admitted he wouldn’t act the same way and asked if he would congratulate her, he said: “Oh yes, I think so. Maybe I’m too nice, but if she’s happy, I’m happy. I always say congratulations, even when she got engaged to Carl Woods. For me, there’s no animosity there. I’m not disappointed, it’s just each to their own.”
Katie and Kieran were only officially divorced last month – three years after their break up.
Katie shocked fans in 2013 when she married Kieran just two months after they met.
Kieran and pair met through the childrens’ school back in 2018.
He popped the question to the mum-of-one in March last year after getting down on one knee in the Maldives.
