A LEGENDARY BBC show is making a come back tonight for a new series after it was off screen for months.
Since the iconic quiz show went off air – fans have been wondering when it will come back.
Now, it's been revealed that Mastermind will return for a new season tonight on BBC Two at 7:30 pm.
It will be hosted by Clive Myrie, who replaced John Humphrys in 2021.
Since 2010, Clive has regularly presented BBC News at Six and Ten as well as the BBC News Channel.
The show will see 96 contenders follow the tried and tested formula of answering their chosen Specialist Subjects.

It will be followed by a round of tough general knowledge questions.
Those that make it through the heats and then the semi-finals, will face each other in the Grand Final in a bid to win the coveted title of Mastermind Champion and the famous Mastermind Glass Bowl.
Some of the subjects the contenders will be tested on in this series range from Mary Queen of Scots, Otters and Harry Styles to René Magritte, Ted Lasso and The History of Cattle.
Speaking about being the host for legendary show, Clive said: "We've got another cracking series, full of thrills and heart racing moments, as our contenders do battle.

The 30-part series will air each week from 2023 through 2024.
