During Sunday’s episode of Love Island: Aftersun, Claudia Fogarty’s family watched her dramatic recoupling with Casey O’Gorman from earlier in the week.
Claudia, whose sister Daniella announced her pregnancy shortly after Claudia went into the South African villa, is the daughter of former motorcycle legend Carl Fogarty.
The father-daughter duo have a close relationship, and Carl wished Claudia the best on social media ahead of her Love Island stint.
Since joining the show, Claudia has grown closer to Casey, though their relationship was tested recently during the dreaded Casa Amor segment of the show.
While Claudia remained relatively loyal to Casey, he kissed Sanam Harrinanan and was later straddled by Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo on the terrace.
Despite the kisses, Casey chose to stick with Claudia during an intense nine-person recoupling, with Claudia also arriving in the villa alone in the hopes of continuing her relationship with the recruitment consultant.
Claudia’s mum Michaela and her sister Danielle were joined by the latter’s partner since 2018, Ex on the Beach’s Ross Worswick, as they sipped on bubbly and enjoyed some popcorn.
"Pick her, you know you want to," Carl said during the recoupling as the family sat down to watch Claudia on the ITV dating show, which is the first with Maya Jama as host following Laura Whitmore’s exit.
"There it is, baby girl," Michaela exclaimed when her daughter sprung from the villa to stay with Casey. "I'm happy, he just needs to become a man now."
In the dramatic recoupling, tensions boiled over when host Maya Jama questioned: "Is anyone holding their tongue at the moment?"
"A little bit. I was snogging you on the terrace so, you know. We were straddling, we were kissing, so…." Cynthia scathed before adding, "I know you've been honest, and you said that someone will get hurt. I have got hurt."
Claudia was taken aback by the confession but soon laughed it off, which spared fierce reaction from the other bombshells.
"It's obviously funny, isn't it?" Cynthia hit back as she cried, as Claudia scathed, "What's funny? I'm literally laughing at something else. Don't start, because I'm laughing at something else."
Claudia asked at a later point: “So talk me through the girl, or girls, however many girls you decided to kiss whilst I was away.”
"I wanted to come into the Casa experience and get to know the girls, and I feel like I did that. But no one is as special as my girl Claudia," Casey replied.
