Love Island fans went wild for new "friendship couple" Aaron Francis and Kaz Kamwi on Monday's episode after he failed to pick Sharon Gaffka.
During the dramatic recoupling, which saw Rachel Finni eliminated from the villa, Aaron, 24, chose Kaz, 29, as she is one of the girls he is "closest to" while Hugo Hammond, 24, saved 25 year old Sharon from being dumped from the show.
Revealing his decision for picking Kaz, Aaron sweetly said: "I would like to couple up with this girl because she is one of the girls I am closest to in the villa. I love the energy that she brings to the villa, it is unmatched, and we're always joking around with each other.
"She's had a hard time in the villa so far, but I'd love to give her the opportunity to potentially meet someone that she really likes… so the girl I'd like to couple up with is… Kaz," to which Kaz sweetly replied with: "I appreciate you so much."

Talking later on the show, Kaz admitted she was shocked over Aaron's decision and thought she might have been picked by new Islander Teddy Soares.
She said: "I am in a couple with Aaron now… I didn't see that coming, I thought I'd be coupled up with Teddy, guess that's not it!"
While Aaron added: "This is probably the most ideal friendship coupling!"
The Islander admitted that he didn't want to pick Sharon as he wanted to "avoid" a "complicated relationship" with her after he previously called their romance off.
Despite not seeing Aaron and Kaz's coupling happening, viewers were left delighted over the new friendship pairing especially as the show revealed a "most compatible" public vote for all the Islanders at the end of the episode.
One person said: "I knew Aaron was going to pick Kaz!! It’s sooo sweet, I love their friendship #LoveIsland."
A different viewer put: "Kaz and Aaron's little friendship is cute asf #LoveIsland."
Another show watcher commented: "The whole UK breathing a sigh of relief when Aaron coupled up with Kaz #LoveIsland."
While a different account added: "Aw, Kaz and Aaron are so sweet together. They make such a good friendship couple #LoveIsland."
Aaron called things off with Sharon on last week's episode where he told her that he likes someone “a lot more chilled,” adding: “We get on really well, that’s pretty clear. But I do feel like there were a few red flags about. Can I see this working long-term? I’m not really sure. I didn’t want to continue it.”
Sharon asked: “You didn’t? Or you don’t?” and Aaron clarified: “I don’t want to continue it.”
Aaron went on to explain his decision, saying it had nothing to do with the new girls and adding that he has to think about the “kid situation.”

He added: “The person I want to be with needs to love kids and really want to start a family.”
Sharon continued to say she couldn’t change his mind if that’s what he wanted, adding: “I think it’s unfair to turn around and say straight away that it’s done, as opposed to having a conversation about it.”
Aaron said he doesn’t think they’d be a strong couple outside of the villa.
