However, the pair broke up a year later in August 2017.
She has since returned as a surprise bombshell during the current series of the show and has taken the villa by storm.
After turning Zachariah's head, she is now in a couple with him having stolen him away from Molly.
Though if viewers think she's returning to the programme because she's short on cash – they've got another thing coming.
Despite causing chaos during her first stint in the ITV villa, Kady appears to be reigning it in, which could be because she's since become a self-established businesswoman in her own right.
Alongside taking the typical influencer path, she has also done more TV work, hosts a podcast and launched her own businesses.
According to reports, Kady is worth a staggering net worth of £1.3million.
The stunner has launched her own fitness and beauty brands since leaving the show and currently owns the fitness and lifestyle app Body Goals By Kady.
The app contains recipes and fitness planners to help her fans get a fab figure like hers.
In the past, she also launched a makeup brand titled By Kady and help artistry masterclasses, though it doesn’t look as though these are still active.
The TV star is also listed on Companies House as owning Kady McDermott LTD which was set up for her “television programme production activities”.
Since finding fame on Love Island, she has also had a stint on TOWIE when she dated cast member Miles Barnett.
Earlier this year, Kady also launched a podcast with JD Women titled “Don’t Judge”.
The star co-hosts this with 2019 Islander pal Joanna Chimonides and Kady is also making a fortune from sponsored posts on social media.
According to The Tab, Kady could earn up to £2k per post.
Brands in her roster include firms such as Baylis and Harding, Shein, Gym King and JD Women.
