Married at First Sight UK’s latest series is done and dusted, following the dramatic events of the past couple of months. The E4 dating show released its reunion episode on Tuesday, October 18, so fans could see whether or not any of the husbands and wives stayed together. Sadly, for one of the most popular duos, their love story ended before the final commitment ceremony.

Should Thomas and Adrian get back together?
Thomas Hartley and Adrian Sanderson’s marriage didn’t get off to the best of starts as the former stated he had never fancied “a blonde” before.
Things got even tenser when Adrian’s best friend was grilling Thomas about his life and the couple had a fierce row on their honeymoon.
Gradually though, they started to see eye to eye and form a bond that viewers fell in love with.
Everything flipped once again when visiting their homes and Thomas’ mum didn’t approve of their relationship.
This, in turn, planted doubts in Thomas’ mind and he realised there wasn’t a sexual connection between them.
So when it came to choosing whether to stay or leave, while Adrian wrote stay, Thomas opted to put an end to their marriage.
The couple had a teary goodbye as they agreed that they would be better off as friends.
Despite fans rooting for them to get back together, Heart Bingo’s Certified Dating and Relationship Expert, Dr Callisto Adams believes it would be wrong for them to go back to how they were.
Dr Adams explained to Express.co.uk: “They have potential, they’re very good for one another as individual presences, however, I do not think they should get back together.
“Their issues as a couple can be manageable but it takes a lot of effort, energy, commitment, and compromise from both parties.
“In some areas, Thomas seemed to be compromising, and in others, Adrian seemed to be making the compromise.
“However, there came a point where instead of compromises one or both of them had to make sacrifices for the other to be happy.”

Dr Adams added: “Again, it’s not an impossible thing to attain, but it takes a lot from both sides.
“I think they’re amazing as a platonic duo which doesn’t dim their light nor does it jeopardise their beautiful connection with one another.”
So it does appear that Thomas and Adrian would be better off apart after all in the long run.
Fans were happy to see the former couple were on fairly good terms in the reunion episode, despite the split.
In the reunion show, Thomas and Adrian told the experts that they were the best of friends now that the experiment finished.
During their segment, a reel of Thomas’ biggest outbursts was shown, much to his horror.
He then turned to Adrian and the rest of the cast, apologising for his behaviour towards them.
