Attention everyone wondering if Jesse Palmer would trade in his shiny new Bachelor hosting duties for another turn as the show’s leading man. Nope! This dude got married to his longtime girlfriend Emely Fardo in a secret wedding back in 2020 that they literally just announced over a year later.

The couple exclusively told People that they made it official at a friend’s home in Connecticut back in June 2020, saying “We were only able to invite a small group of close friends that live in the greater N.Y.C. area, and that were in quarantine at the time. We had a lovely afternoon and look forward to celebrating our love with our parents and immediate families all together soon!” They added, “Big or small, wedding party or not, we feel so grateful and lucky to have found each other!”

While Jesse and Emely managed to keep their wedding secret for over a year, if you look back on their Instagrams there are some clues—including the appearance of a wedding ring on Jesse’s finger, and the fact that Emely celebrated their anniversary in June 2021:

FYI, these two have been together since 2017, at which point Jesse told The Daily Mail, “I’ve been so enamored, so in love with this woman and it only has grown. I’m head over heels for her.”

As a reminder, Jesse will be hosting the upcoming season of The Bachelor staring Clayton Echard. He said in a statement, “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.”
