Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) are confused in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street as Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) rejects an idea for the Bistro, but will they work out she’s only doing so in order to try and get rid of Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) – the man she recently slept with?
The idea in question is a late licence for the Bistro, which will be put in place to try and bring more young people to the restaurant following the news a hall of residence is being built.
Of course, the prospect of a late licence has got a lot of Weatherfield residents talking and in upcoming episodes, while in the Bistro for his birthday lunch, Adam tells Nick that there may be a problem as some locals have raised objections.
When Maria (Samia Longchambon) lets slip that Sarah was one of those who raised objections about the licence, Nick and Adam are furious but Damon – who’s at the table as well – enjoys Sarah’s discomfort.
Towards the end of the week, Sarah speaks her mind to Nick and Leanne (Jane Danson), telling them the licence idea is a terrible one.
But later, when Gail (Helen Worth) tells Nick that she doesn’t have a problem with it, he is left wondering why Sarah would tell a lie.
What will she say?
Can Sarah get out of this?
