On March 12, 2019, Singer, 58 pleaded guilty to four criminal charges involving racketeering conspiracy; money laundering conspiracy; conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government; and obstruction of justice
He also cooperated with the prosecution, leading to the arrest of several parents, coaches and administrators.
No sentencing date has been set at the time, but according to NBC, Singer faces up to 65 years in prison and a fine of $1.25 million [£899,943] reported CNN.
In July 2020, Singer’s legal team filed a motion that would allow him to travel from California to his home in Arizona.
