After Piers Morgan’ s abrupt exit from his regular slot on Good Morning Britain last week, fans were delighted to see his return to TV screens on Thursday evening.
The outspoken presenter was back on ITV interviewing presenter and singer Coleen Nolan for the latest episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.
In the episode, Piers spoke to Coleen, 56, about growing up in the spotlight as part of the legendary Nolan Sisters and dealing with cancer tragedy in her family.
Fans took to Twitter to air their views on the presenter’s return and the overall interview with Coleen.
One fan wrote: "Just watched Piers Morgan’s Life Stories. Coleen Nolan, spot on.”
Another quipped: "Nice to see my mate Piers Morgan on TV miss that Voice on Tv.”
A third wrote: "Please show Life Stories in the US!! I’m sure you could license it here!!”
Whilst another said: "Great to see you back on @ITV Piers #LifeStories."
Last week, Piers quit Good Morning Britain after igniting thousands of Ofcom complaints from Good Morning Britain viewers.
Piers did not hold back his thoughts regarding the Harry and Meghan interview that aired on ITV last week and many viewers were not impressed by his outspoken opinions.
Despite GMB receiving the most Ofcom complaints of all time for Piers' comments, the outspoken presenter stood by his views regarding the actress and his overall thoughts on the Oprah interview.
Piers explained that “freedom of speech is a hill [he] is happy to die on".
After his sharp exit from Good Morning Britain, Piers confessed that ITV had been “amicable" and stood by his remarks.
Last Wednesday, Piers spoke openly outside his London home.
He said: "I think it’s fair to say, although the woke crowd will think that they’ve cancelled me, I think they will be rather disappointed when I re-emerge," he said. "I would call it a temporary hibernation."

Despite this, it has been reported that there are several people in the running for Piers’ old job.
Lawyer and TV personality, Robert Rinder was recently questioned on whether he would be keen to replace Morgan on the popular morning show.
Robert, who many fans know as Judge Rinder said he would be tougher than Piers on politicians.
Speaking to The Sun Robert said: "I think that Piers has been on that show for a few years, I think the politicians and people that whinge about the world that come on that programme to be cross-examined will consider Piers Morgan to be a birthday present."
