Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) made a bold claim in EastEnders tonight (March 2), as she told Martin Fowler (James Bye) that Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) had pushed her down the stairs.
Viewers will know that Ruby and Stacey had a heated showdown in the club last week, and it culminated with Ruby taking a tumble.
She claimed that the incident in question was what resulted in her having a miscarriage, but the audience know that she this was untrue.
With Ruby having returned home from the hospital in tonight’s edition of the BBC One soap, Stacey contemplated popping round for a visit.
Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) offered her moral support, and thus they headed over to speak to Ruby together.
However, Ruby berated Stacey, claiming it’s her fault she lost her baby, before telling Martin that Stacey pushed her down the stairs at the club.
Stacey was outraged at such a suggestion, arguing that she would never do something like that, but Ruby went one step further, revealing that Stacey and Kush had kept her prisoner in the office of the club and forced her to take a pregnancy test.
Martin was livid, and subsequently lashed out at Kush, before telling Stacey that he wants nothing more to do with her.
Will Martin come to realise that Ruby is lying? What’s more, will Stacey be able to prove that she did not push Ruby?
EastEnders continues Thursday March 4 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
