Rylan pranked by Ant and Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway
Rylan Clark is hosting the 2023 Eurovision competition in Liverpool alongside Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Claire Sweeney. This left Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to unleash a Eurovision-style prank on the presenter which left him reeling, and the Geordie duo in fits of laughter.
In a sneak peek clip of the ITV show, Ant and Dec are sat with their microphones ready to cause havoc on the unsuspecting Rylan.
As he walks to the studio doors, Ant excitedly admitted: “He loves Eurovision! This is going to be awful!”
Speaking into the intercom, Rylan explained: “Hello, it’s me Rylan,” then desperately pulled on the door to get it open.
Dec was sat on his phone giggling before he teased: “Shall I check the football scores before I let him in?”
Another clip showed Rylan being told to say something about the contest to the camera in French, however, he actually quipped: “Is it true I smell of cheese?”
The series of clips show Rylan speaking to the camera with a person dressed in green so they blend in with the green screen.
Rylan commented: “It just looks so dodgy in real life.”
As he expected to be doing something with Eurovision, he was tasked to introduce “Armenia’s act” for 2023 where Ant and Dec dressed up in disguise to be on stage with them.
The 45-second clip is filled with mayhem and he finally realised he had been pranked by Ant and Dec, exclaiming: “Oh my god I rode that man!”
Tonight the pair took to the Saturday Night Takeaway Twitter account and announced: “For our last Undercover of the series we’re going BIG!”
Leaving Rylan to reply: “‘B***ards”, and prompting much amusement from fans.
User @Michell52670634 laughed: “Can’t wait to see this one,” as @liamjmellor80 added: “Oh, this is going to be hilarious. Rylan is class.”
