SOPHIE Ellis-Bextor has revealed she’s learnt how to pull the perfect pint after teaming up with Heineken.
The Murder On The Dancefloor singer could be turning up to your home on a cherry picker to give you a taste of their zero-alcohol lager.
Sophie, 41, joined forces with Heineken after joking she needed to reign in her drinking in lockdown.
She explained: “We got really good at making cocktails.
“But we got to the beginning of this year and thought we needed to be a bit more sensible about life and watch how much we were drinking. You know, reign it in a bit.”
She’ll now be dishing out the 0.0 Heineken on a cherry picker, which has been converted into a bar.
Sophie explained: “I have my cherry picker and my optics.
“And now I can pour the perfect pint. I’ve drank non-alcoholic beers when I was pregnant so I really like them.
“And this is just such a fun way to start the year.”
Fans of Sophie, and the drink, can enter the ballot here to be in with a chance to have the popstar come to your home to pull you a pint.
She will be dishing out the drinks in London, while Phil Etheridge will be taking over when the cherry picker heads to Birmingham.
In Manchester Drag Race star Divina de Campo will be taking the reins while comedian Eleanor Morton is taking on pint pulling duties in Edinburgh.
Sophie added: “You’re certainly going to be the talk of the neighbourhood if a bar on a cherry picker appears outside your window during the working day.
“At times like this people need a bit of light relief and after a year of working at home, this is a unique way to make home working a bit better, give people a small break and lift their days.”
