Stephen Bear admits he's only made £29.90 since attempting to become a YouTube star after revenge porn arrest

STEPHEN Bear launched a YouTube empire since being arrested on returning the UK – but he's made less than £30 from it.

The 31-year-old poked fun at his meagre earnings in a video on the platform where he exposed how much influencers are really paid.

The reality star – who already boasts 5.51k followers despite only posting his first video two weeks ago – lifted the lid on the harsh realities of being a social media star.

He named the very sarcastic video: "HOW MUCH MONEY I MADE FROM 15000 VIEWS!!!! I MIGHT BUY A NEW HOUSE!!!!"

The Ex On The Beach star most likely thought that he would be raking in lots of extra cash with his new hobby, but it looks like things haven't quite gone to plan.

"Guys look I'm not making this video to show off how much money I'm on, I'm not showing off how much money I got paid for this 15,000 views," Beartold his fans.

He continued: "I'm just making this video to inspire people, you know how much money you could potentially earn.

"I'm not rubbing it in anyone's faces, I know we're in a pandemic right now, I know a lot of people are getting furloughed so maybe speaking about money isn't the best idea.

"But I want to motivate people, I want to inspire people, I just want everyone to know how much money you could potentially make on YouTube.

"So when I show you this don't hate me, don't be annoyed, never compare yourself to others that's the wrong thing you can do…"

He then went on to say that he's going to become the "world's greatest ever YouTuber" because of his "sick" content.

For the video, Stephen went on to ask his brother, dad and even his pets how much he thought that he should earn from nearly 15,000 views – with answers ranging from £4,000 to £20,000.

Bear went on to say to the camera: "Most YouTubers don't like saying how much they're earning but with me, it's either on or off, hot or cold very easy. very direct, very transparent…."

Holding his laptop up for everyone to see the screen, he pointed at his earnings and said: "For nearly 15000 views I got a total of £29.90. How crazy is that?

"So I've worked out in my head if I done 1000 videos a day at £29.90, that's only £29,000. Imagine all I've got to do is 1000 videos a day!"

He then went on to hypothetically make up loads of unrealistic goals for content creation, which he definitely wouldn't be able to complete.

The Ex On The Beach star has been filming his life for YouTube in a daily series since his revenge porn arrest last month.

For one 'Life of Bear' video he filmed into a police station as he signed his bail agreement, which he was later brought in for questioning.

Bear was arrested last month over claims he posted a sex video of his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison online, which he denies.

This sparked the idea of his new money making scheme – which doesn't seem to have gone down very well.

Earlier this week he returned to the police station in a balaclava to sign bail for his recent arrest.

He's also caused a lot of controversy in recent weeks by breaking lockdown rules such as not wearing a mask when needed and hanging out with family members he doesn't live with.
