STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are rallying to "support" Matt Goss after accusing him of being "set upon" by show judges and a handful of viewers.
Those tuning in to the BBC's flagship series have branded the Bros singer, 54, "fragile" following his Viennese Waltz last night with professional partner Nadiya Bychkova, 32.
The duo performed on Movies Week to Top Gun: Maverick track Hold My Hand.
Yet despite their emotion-packed routines and smooth moves, they were only awarded a three from Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Some quarters have suggested Craig and fellow judge Shirley have created a "hate train" towards the popstar with personal remarks, while others have called out Matt's "shy" demeanour.
Yet the When Will I Be Famous hitmaker's loyal contingent are calling for support and love for their idol.

One fan argued: "Lets continue to support him. I think the #Strictly experience will be good for him."
Another bluntly suggested: "Shirleyballas #CraigRevelHorwood has started the hate train for @mattgoss on social media."
A third then continued: "Agree! Matt Goss is so obviously incredibly shy and awkward and trying to learn to dance in public spite of that. Should be applauded not set upon! #Strictly2022 #strictly."
Another mused: "Funny how there is so much positivity to some people and yet it’s fine to show hate to others. Matt Goss is clearly out of his comfort zone. Many people have conditions where they come across as awkward etc."

Another was more passionate and raged: "I’m fuming about the response to #MattGoss, the personal insults about him on #Strictly are ?. You don’t know him to make assumptions on his personality. He is as handsome as ever, at 54! Despite what you say, he’s adored for his talent, a British pop icon.?"
One then argued: "The Judges on #strictly tonight were clearly acting like @mattgoss had offended each and everyone of them personally in some way.
"He Did not deserve the low marks he got."
A Strictly fan then attempted to offer reassurance and added: "You could see such improvement from him compared to last week. Keep your head up Matt, you are doing great! #StrictlyComeDancing #strictly."
Matt and Nadiya were hovering at the bottom of the Strictly results table last night, with 21 points.
