Craig Revel Horwood has spoken out about the new cohort of Strictly Come Dancing stars taking to the dancefloor this weekend.
The star admitted that he is anxious ahead of BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker taking to the dancefloor showcasing his Latin dance routines.
Craig, 56, appeared on Lorraine today [Wednesday] to discuss the forthcoming series that will launch on Saturday, September 18.
When probed by the Scottish presenter about who he is most looking forward to, Craig admitted that he was excited to see Loose Women star Judi Love and Olympic legend Adam Peaty take to the dancefloor, explaining that Adam had "liquid hips" after seeing him practising.
Dan, however, found himself in bother when Craig said he fears for the broadcaster due to his impressive 6.4ft height.
Craig said: "Dan, yeah, a little bit – only in the Latin because I think he's so long.
"He's got so much to control of that body, you know, I think in the frame, he's going to be absolutely gorgeous in the ballroom but I think the Latin is what he's going to struggle with."
Dan teased Strictly fans dropping a subtle hint about his partner as he took to Instagram to share a video from his London hotel room after rehearsals.
Kicking off his video, he said: "Hello everybody. Hope you're okay. What a fun day yesterday."
Dan continued: "First NFL show of the new season, great to see Jason [Bell] and Osi [Umenyiora] again, and then straight over to Strictly Towers for the first full day of dancing, which was weird, but I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would."
He went on to say: "I met my pro partner this week. I can't tell you anything about her because I'll be killed by the Strictly ninja."
"But what can I say? She's patient, she's kind and she's lovely"
Dan admitted all the contestants were "understandably nervous" as they headed out to the ballroom, but added there were some "brilliant dancers" and "everyone was getting on so well".
Yesterday, Daily Star revealed that Craig believes that there is still room for the infamous Strictly curse to appear, despite contestants not being allowed to kiss.
He said: "I agree with it, only because kissing passes on disease and we’re still living in a Covid world, darling, we've got to protect the show.
"There's still scope for the 'Strictly curse', which I don't believe is a curse," he added before saying: "Let people be blessed with love and flirting."
Strictly Come Dancing airs at 7.45pm on BBC One on Saturday.
