This weekStrictly Come Dancingwas Halloween themed and saw the dancing couples pull out their scariest looks for a spin around the dance floor.
During Saturday’s competition, contestantTony Adams and his partner Katya Jones took to the dance floor first and delivered an incredible performance.
The former professional footballer, 56, performed a quickstep to "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" by The Charlie Daniels Band and left the usually critical judges very impressed, so much so that some gave him a standing ovation.
Following on from last week's score of 19, his week he was given 31 as Craig "welcomed him" to the dancefloor as he noted his remarkable improvement.
Fans took to Twitter to share their joy at Tony's score: "Wow !! What a start to the show…FabUlous Tony n Katya !!!!"
Another said: "I'm in shock. Tony Adams was really good!"
One more added: "tony adams is what strictly is all about – somebody who can’t dance and is genuinely learning and enjoying themselves… people who are good from week one or have dance experience already are boring!"
RecentlyTony revealed that he and pro partner Katya had a “row”hours before they were due to go on stage.
Speaking on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two a few weeks ago, he explained that he had become overwhelmed with fear during rehearsal, leading to Katya deliver some home truths.
Tony told hostRylan Clark: "I was full of fear beforehand. We had a team talk. She [Katya] came into my dressing room after our dress rehearsal and told me a few home truths about me holding back.
"I think she admits it could have gone either way. I could have thrown my toys out of the pram and gone home.
"But I fought back the fear and just kind of went for it," he added.
The tense moment came after Tony had to issue an apology to Katyaafter dropping her during rehearsals.
He added a clip from rehearsals to Twitter and said: “Thanks to everyone who voted for me – am trying my hardest to get it right, but at times I revert to type. Scroll to see my Stevie Morrow moment in training. Sorry @Mrs_katjones (and Steve. Still sorry after all these years…)”.
In the clip, Tony can be seen holding Katya on one shoulder before losing his balance and swinging her into a dustbin. He's added an arrow and written "Steve Morrow" as Katya can be seen laying outstretched on the floor, before fortunately springing back up.
While the former footballer has been a fan favourite, Tony's Strictly performances haven't exactly been high scorers, fans have delighted in seeing the effort he's put in on the dancefloor and he's received enough votes to so far dodge the dreaded dance off.
This month the pair performed an American Smooth to Joe Cocker's With A Little Help from My Friends, which the footballer dedicated to the people who have helped him on his path to sobriety.
For Movies Week, he hilariously performed a Full Monty-themed routine – andeven stripped down to a pair of glittery boxers mid-performance.
Praising the star, one fan tweeted after the dance: "Give Tony the BAFTA now."
Another said: "Omg just for entertainment value it’s a 10 for Tony."
