The Rookie: Promotional trailer for ‘Under Siege’

The Rookie star Nathan Fillion has been working on an unexpected project, leaving fans to wonder when season six will be coming out.
John Nolan (played by Nathan Fillion) has been working his way up through the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) since joining the force and is no longer the new guy in town.
The ABC and Sky Witness series was last seen for season five in 2022 and thankfully has already been renewed for another outing.
But with no talk of a start date, its cast have had to busy themselves working on other things and that includes the star of the show, Fillion.
While many was thinking he could be working on another series, he has instead been doing some necessary jobs at home with a famous face by his side.

Fillion is friends and neighbours with Average Joe actor Michael Trucco who will be in The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix.
But the 52-year-old, who rarely takes to Instagram, shared a video of him and Trucco spending their free time strimming his bushes in the garden.
He wrote: “@themichaeltrucco and I are co-workers, friends, and neighbors. In that order.
“He’s very talented, super good at being friends, and always willing to tackle a job with me that I would never do on my own.
“I hope you all have a Trucco in your life, or at least in your backyard.”

His followers were praising the stars for their handy gardening skills but some were also questioning when The Rookie season six will begin.
One fan joked: “If the strike continues you at least have a plan b. Gardeners.”
Another wrote: “Awesome, can’t wait to watch the next season of The Rookie!!” while a third said: “Season 6 let’s goooo Nolan!”.
Sharing their excitement, a fellow viewer added: “I can’t wait till the new The Rookie comes out! Nathan, you’re an amazing actor! And the cast is amazing!”
Scripted shows like The Rookie haven’t returned just yet due to the ongoing writers and actors’ strikes in the US.
Production has been postponed since earlier this year with work unable to be carried out until an agreement is reached.
It is thought if the strike does end soon, fans may be able to watch The Rookie season six in early 2024.
The Rookie is available to watch on ABC in the US and Sky Witness in the UK.
