The Witcher's Henry Cavill promises 'plenty of man flesh' as he strips naked for steamy shower scenes in season 2

THE Witcher's Henry Cavill has promised 'plenty of man flesh' as he strips naked for steamy shower scenes in season two.

The 38-year-old actor plays Geralt of Rivia in the hit Netflix series, and left viewers hot under the collar in the first season during a now infamous bath scene.

With season two hitting our screens in December, fans are desperate to know if they can expect a repeat performance.

Speaking at WitcherCon 2021, Henry teased: "Geralt only showers from now on. He invented the shower for this very reason.

"Myself, personally, there's no bathtub scenes, but people will not be disappointed, there's plenty of man flesh to be observed."

The synopsis for season two reads: "Convinced Yennefer's life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen.

"While the Continent's kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside."

Henry recently revealed his Geralt voice came about by accident, after he had originally been told by showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich to use his own voice.

But in a scene between Geralt and King Foltest in season one's third episode, Henry forgot.

He recalled: "I didn't do that intentionally. That happened by accident. And then afterwards I was like, 'Oh my god, I just played a whole scene in the wrong voice'."

He added the move, "made a lot of things sit better when it came to delivery of certain lines, and delivery of certain dialog."

Henry said: "I know it's very similar to [voice actor] Doug Cockle's amazing work [on the video games]. That was definitely a concern.

"I don't want to seem like I'm plagiarizing another professional's extraordinary work. I had a look at it, had a listen to it, and I thought, actually they are different enough."

The Witcher season two premieres on Netflix on December 17, with season one available now.
