There was "carnage" in the This Morning studio on Thursday (September 7) as stand-in presenter Craig Doyle threw a lemon at co-host Holly Willoughby forcing her to duck for cover.
And as Holly jumped out of the way of the citrus fruit it struck a table which resulted in the ITV show's guest reporter, Sonia Sodha being struck with a glass of water.
Holly and Craig had been discussing the Rugby World Cup with chef Jamie Oliver, which prompted Holly, 42, to reveal she will be "on the sidelines" as her three children return to sporting activity of their own this weekend.

Addressing Jamie, Craig said: "I know Jamie's into rugby these days," before imitating a rugby ball pass by tossing him the lemon.
"And one back," said Jamie as he returned it accurately to Craig, 52, who caught it impressively with one hand.
Then, beaming from ear-to-ear, Craig quickly attempted to pass it on to Holly, who avoided its path resulting in a huge crash being heard off camera.
"You've broken the set already!" cried Jamie, as Holly interjected: "Can we get a camera here please – Sonia Sodha's sitting there and you've splashed water all over her. She's actually drenched!"
Sonia could then be seen standing looking for something to dry herself with as Holly jokingly admitted: "And that is why I stay away from sport."
Jamie quipped: "At least she smells nice!"
And Craig, who caused the mess, added: "Sport's fun isn't it – although I do feel sorry about that."
"Yes can we please get a towel for Sonia now?" Holly asked the show's crew, before telling Jamie: "Thank god you're here to cook and not play rugby."

And after introducing a segment on worm-charming, Craig took position on the sofas by reporter Sonia as he reassured her: "There's people bringing in towels. I'm so, so sorry."
Sonia laughed it off, however, declaring: "Well it's so hot today – it was actually incredibly refreshing."
Then as another guest in the form of Nick Ferrari appeared via video-link, Irishman Craig added: "Good morning. It's just been carnage this morning with Holly throwing things. Come on – reel it in, won't you?"
