EUROVISION 2023 is set to take place in Liverpool.
Plenty of fans are excited for this year's competition, but who is Germany's entry Lord of the Lost?
Who is Lord of the Lost?
Lord of the Lost is a German industrial metal band from Hamburg, formed by singer and frontman Chris Harms and they are set to represent the country at Eurovision.
The band was founded in mid-2007 as a solo project but he soon realised he would need a full band to perform live.
He recruited other musicians from his friends in the Hamburg music scene to form the band and begin working on an album.
Their debut single Dry the Rain was released in 2009 and they have been creating music ever since.

What is Lord of the Lost's Eurovision song?
Germany is set to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest with Blood & Glitter.
The country chose who would represent them in the competition by having their own contest, which Lord of the Lost won.
Has Germany ever won Eurovision?
Yes, Germany have won Eurovision twice.
They first won the contest in 1982, when Nicole won with Ein bißchen Frieden.

The second German victory came 28 years later at the 2010 contest, when Lena won with Satellite.
Katja Ebstein, who finished third in 1970 and 1971, then second in 1980, is the only performer to have made the top three on three occasions.
Germany has a total of 11 top three placements, also finishing second with Lena Valaitis (1981) and twice with the group Wind (1985 and 1987), and finishing third with Mary Roos (1972), Mekado (1994) and Sürpriz (1999).
Germany has finished last on eight occasions, receiving nul points in 1964, 1965 and 2015.
When did Germany join Eurovision?
Germany has officially participated in every Eurovision Song Contest since it began in 1956.
However, in 1996 its entry did not qualify past the pre-selection round and was not seen in the broadcast final and does not count as one of Germany's 65 appearances.
No other country has been represented as many times as Germany.
Along with France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, Germany is one of the Big Five countries that are automatically prequalified for the final, due to being the largest financial contributors to the European Broadcasting Union.
