Nathen Garson, the son of late Sex and the City star Willie Garson, has shared a joyful throwback video of himself with his father, expressing in the caption how much he misses his ‘papa’.
Last month, it was announced that Garson, best-known for playing Carrie Bradshaw’s right-hand man Stanford Blatch on Sex and the City, had died at the age of 57, with it later being confirmed that he died from pancreatic cancer.
Numerous people paid tribute to the talented actor, with Sarah Jessica Parker expressing how ‘unbearable’ the ‘anguish’ has been in the wake of her friend’s death.
Nathen, 20, was adopted by Garson after they met at an adoption fair when he was seven years old.
Following his father’s death, he shared a tribute on social media in which he wrote: ‘I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I’m so proud of you.’
In a new post, Nathen shared a throwback video of himself and Garson dancing at a party or a nightclub, as someone states off camera: ‘This is what Willie brought his son to. Good job Dad.’

In the caption, Nathen said: ‘Missing you papa. Love you to the moon and back x1,000,000,000. I’m sure your dancing and listening to the music you love on your adventure. Have a blast.’
The post also included a picture of Nathen and Garson at the event, posing underneath the red lighting.
Several people shared supportive messages for Nathen in the comment section, with actor Sharon Lawrence writing: ‘Awww, I was just thinking about you two this morning. Thanks for sharing this Nathen.’
‘I love you so much, bud,’ said One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton, while Modern Family actor Julie Bowen said: ‘It makes me smile and sob all at once. So great to see him dancing!’
Garson recently filmed scenes for the upcoming Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That…, reprising his role as Stanford from the original TV series and movies.
This week, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted returning to set after her friend’s death.
