Hurricane Matthew: Fox news' Shep Smith issues warning to Florida residents

FOX News host Shep Smith warned terrified Florida residents that if Hurricane Matthew moves towards them “you and everyone you know are dead.”

The 52-year-old then insisted "and your kids die, too."

Deadly Matthew is hurtling towards the sunshine state with authorities urging millions of residents to flee their homes or risk being killed by the 150mph winds.

While discussing the threat of the powerful storm on Thursday, news anchor Smith pulled no punches.

He said: “This moves 20 miles to the west, and you and everyone you know are dead — all of you — because you can't survive it.
