EXCLUSIVE: Italian PM Giorgia Meloni’s ex-partner who she dumped after he was caught asking for a threesome cheers himself up with a haircut after being dropped from his TV host job

Italian PM Giorgia Meloni’s ex-partner, who she dumped after he was taped asking a colleague for a threesome, has now been dropped as a TV host – but still broke cover for the first time since the scandal broke to get a haircut.
Andrea Giambruno, 42, Ms Meloni’s partner of ten years and father of their seven-year-old daughter, Ginevra was caught off air making lewd sexist remarks and they were later broadcast on a satirical TV show.
The audio was aired on a programme called Striscia La Notizia and Giambruno was heard propositioning a colleague and asking of she was interested in a ‘threesome…or foursome’ after initially telling her he was having an affair.
Giambruno has remained tight lipped since the incident – although the TV company he works for Mediaset has issued a statement saying he was ‘sorry for any embarrassment caused’, adding he had agreed to leave his Diario del Giorno (Diary of the Day) show.
Just after the official announcement he was snapped at his local barber in Rome, where he and Ms Meloni live, having a haircut at the salon of stylist to the stars Gennaro Capasso.

Capasso – who posted a picture of Giambruno on his Instagram page – has cut the hair of footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Romalu Lukaku as well as ex Chelsea and current Roma boss Jose Mourinho.
He captioned the picture: ‘A change for our friend’ along with an emoji of a pair of scissors – having restyled his famous quiff far shorter and trimmed back his beard.
Capasso said: ‘He walked in and we had a coffee and a bit of a chat and then said, he wanted a change of look so I cut his hair far shorter than usual and trimmed back his beard. I think the new look suits him perfectly, he’s a regular client.’
Interviewed in Italian media relationship expert Dr Terri Orbuch, author of Finding Love Again, said that ‘people who split up like to break away from things that associate them with a former partner and losing his quiff was Giambruno’s way of dealing with the situation’.
Ms Meloni, 46, who has been in power for a year and leads a right-wing coalition, announced her decision to split from him last week on her social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

In one of the video clips broadcast, Giambruni is heard talking to a female colleague while repeatedly patting his crutch and asking: ‘Can I touch my balls while speaking to you?’
While in another he said: ‘How are you, darling? Do you know that (name redacted) and I are having an affair? All of Mediaset knows it and now you do too.
‘But we are looking for a third person, as we do threesome. Foursomes too. Would you like to be part of our working group?’
When the woman asks: ‘Is there an aptitude test?’ Giambruno replies: ‘Yes, you have to f***’.
Meanwhile Italy’s National Order of Journalists has also announced it has launched an investigation into Giambruno’s behaviour and is considering disciplinary action against him.
Viviana Guglielmi, 46, was the target of Andrea Giambruno’s sleazy attention while the two were off air in the Milan TV studio where they are based
Italian media have speculated that as a result of the leak there is tension between her party and the Forza Italia party which was founded by late PM Silvio Berlusconi, whose family own Mediaset.
But Berlusconi’s daughter Marina, who is on the board of directors at Mediaset, hit back and said: ‘All these rumours are untrue. I respect highly Giorgia Meloni, not only on a political level but as a woman and even more so now.’
Ms Meloni is leader of the far-right Brothers of Italy party and is known for her traditional Catholic family values and has said in the past that children need both a mother and father
Gennaro told local media: ‘He said that he’d had his hair cut by the stylists and Mediaset and he didn’t like it so that’s why he came to me.
‘Of course we spoke about what happened but as you know going to the barber is like going to confession so I can’t tell you what he told me.
‘What I can share with you is that he seemed happy and didn’t appear at all stressed. He was happy to have his picture taken.’
