A new Netflix blockbuster directed by Harry and Meghan’s friend Tyler Perry and starring Oprah Winfrey will be filmed in Bradford next month.
Six Triple Eight tells the story of the only all-black, all-female battalion to serve in World War Two and will be shot in the West Yorkshire city’s historic Little Germany district.
A day of filming is set to take place on Thursday, February 16, with preparation work getting underway from Sunday, January 22.
It is unclear if Oprah – who hosted Harry and Meghan’s tell-all sit-down in 2021 – will be joining the rest of the cast in Bradford. But Perry, who let the Sussexes stay in his $18m (£14.6m) LA mansion when they arrived in the US after Megxit, is expected to be there.

Little Germany has hosted a series of major productions in recent years, including Downton Abbey, Emmerdale, Peaky Blinders, Gentleman Jack and ABC Murders.
The district, which was named after its large population of German merchants in the 19th-century, is a conservation area known for its handsome neoclassical architecture.
Residents have received letters informing them about the filming for Six Triple Eight, the Telegraph and Argus reported.
The movie features a star-studded cast, including Kerry Washington, Susan Sarandon, Sam Waterston, Dean Norris, Gregg Sulkin, Ebony Obsidian, Milauna Jackson, Kylie Jefferson, Shanice Shantay, Sarah Jeffery, Pepi Sonuga, Jay Reeves, Jeanté Godlock, Moriah Brown, and Baadja-Lyne Odums.
It is Perry’s fourth for Netflix, and based on an adaptation of a story written by Kevin M. Hymel for WWII History Magazine from Sovereign Media.
It tells the tale of the 6888th battalion, which consisted of 855 women who bravely enlisted to serve in WWII despite not knowing the mission they faced.

The group had to deal with racial discrimination, unfamiliar surroundings and a nation that was torn by the war, but persisted in continuing with their work, getting mail from friends and family into the hands of American soldiers.
The unit continued to push forward in the face of adversity with the motto, ‘No Mail, Low Morale.’
Earlier this year, President Joe Biden signed a bill that awarded the group the Congressional Gold Medal.
Perry, 53, is godfather to the Sussexes’ daughter, Lilibet, and appeared on the couple’s Netflix documentary to accuse the Royal Family of mistreating them.
The billionaire claimed the Palace cut off the Sussexes’ money and ended their security – ‘all the things a batterer would do’.
Perry claimed he ‘knew the symptoms’ of coercive control and abuse after watching his late mom Maxine being abused by his alcoholic father Emmitt.
Referring to Meghan and Harry, Perry said: ‘She was abused. And so was he. I knew the symptoms, I saw it. I saw my mother being abused for years.’

Perry and his mother Maxine were abused by his alcoholic father Emmitt Perry, who he has previously revealed once beat him so severely as a child with a vacuum cleaner cord that his skin ripped off his back.
Speaking about how the palace behaved, he added: ‘To use the institution to try and do all the things a batterer would do, like ‘here’s what we’re going to do, we are going to cut off the money, not leave you with security, we’re gonna do all those things to make you comply and come back.’
‘And for the both of them to have the wherewithal to say ‘I don’t give a damn if it’s the palace, I’m out of here’, I applauded that.’
Perry revealed he had reached out to Meghan just before her wedding day to offer her support. It was not until two years after Meghan’s marriage to Harry that she called Perry again to tell him she was ‘afraid’.
Perry revealed after this phone call, he offered up his $18million Beverly Hills home to the couple to use as their personal residence after they quit the monarchy.
The eight-bedroom Tuscan-style villa, which Perry purchased in 2004 for $4.3million, sits on 22 acres of land and comes with 24,000-square-feet of living space.

Perry has previously directed three previous films for Netflix, including A Fall From Grace, A Madea Homecoming and A Jazzman’s Blues.
Harry and Meghan also used their Netflix documentary to discuss their relationship with Oprah, including a visit the 68-year-old made to Nottingham Cottage.
The couple revealed how Oprah was stunned by the ‘small’ size of their home when she ‘went round for tea’ – and told them ‘no one would ever believe’ they were living there.
During one episode, Meghan points out that the living space was far from expansive, saying: ‘Kensington Palace sounds very regal, of course it does, it says “palace” in the name. But Nottingham Cottage was so small.’
Describing the home, Meghan said: ‘People thought we lived in a palace and we did. Well, a cottage in a palace.’
Harry said: ‘The whole thing is on a slight lean, [with] really low ceilings. So I don’t know who was there before but they must have been very short.’
Meghan added: ‘[Harry] would just hit his head constantly in that place because he’s so tall.’
