Police were left stunned after seizing cannabis plants worth hundreds of thousands of pounds that looked like wrapped up like Christmas trees.
Officers uncovered the huge cannabis factory at a disused property in the town centre of Nuneaton, Warwickshire, yesterday.
They recovered hundreds of plants, many of which were lined up in rows and tied up like Christmas trees, believed to hold a value of a six figure sum.
Warwickshire Police said they were alerted to the property after becoming suspicious at the large amount of heat it was generating despite it being disused.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and were taken into custody for questioning.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Police shared pictures of the festive-looking grow on Facebook and wrote ‘Officers from Nuneaton SNT located a large cannabis grow near Nuneaton town centre.
‘There was a substantial heat source coming from the premise which appeared to be disused.

‘Officers untilised police powers to force entry arresting two suspects for cultivation of cannabis.
‘This resulted in hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of cannabis being taken off the streets and removing a significant safety concern for neighbouring properties.’

The police urged citizens who may suspect a cannabis grow to report it through 101or by visiting the Warwickshire police website.
Some residents light-heartedly commented on the force’s post while others were glad the drugs were now off the streets.
One person said: ‘ll take one? Got a few baubles that need using up and some string lights cheers.’
