A 21-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a female was stabbed to death yesterday in Ealing, West London.
Emergency services rushed to an address near Acton tube station on Monday afternoon following reports of a disturbance.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance responded to the call, where where a 58-year-old woman was discovered with stab wounds.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A murder investigation was launched following the attack, leading to the arrest of a 21-year-old woman, who police say was known to the victim.
She was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening injury before being transferred to police custody where she remains.

A 21-year-old man was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
He was released after being taken to a west London police station, with no further action to be taken against him.
Detective Chief Inspector Jim Shirley, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the woman who has lost her life in this incident.
"They will continue to receive our full support.

“I would appeal to anyone who lives nearby or who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward if they saw or heard anything unusual.
