A would-be robber pummeled, kicked and dragged a 60-year-old woman during an attempt to steal her purse in a Brooklyn subway station this week, disturbing new video shows.

The victim was using a MetroCard machine on the mezzanine level of the 86th Street N train station in Gravesend around 6:30 p.m. Sunday when a woman approached her from behind, police said.

The footage released late Tuesday shows the suspect throwing the victim to the ground, punching and kicking her, and dragging her across the floor as other straphangers pass through the turnstiles.

The victim struggled with her attacker and managed to keep her grip on her purse, cops said.

She was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for pain, swelling and bruising to the face and body.

The suspect bolted from the subway station and entered a nearby business, where she changed her clothes and discarded the used clothing in a plastic bag on 86th Street, cops said.

She was still on the loose Wednesday.
