BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, 44, has delighted Strictly Come Dancing fans by reuniting with his partner Nadiya Bychkova. The pair were seen rehearsing a dance routine for a very special cause in a London ballroom on Friday.

In a clip shared to Dan’s 273,000 Instagram followers, he and Nadiya looked delighted to be back together and burst onto the screen.

Dan enthusiastically said: “We are back on the dance floor, look at this, this is the St Pancras Hotel in London, what a ballroom!”

The presenter then asked Nadiya what they were doing there, and she replied: “We’re doing the Charleston!”

Proving he has not lost his Strictly moves yet, Dan demonstrated a couple of steps and Nadiya laughed, jesting: “That’s the one!”

The BBC Breakfast star then explained that they were taking part in a charity event this weekend for former rugby player Rob Burrow to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND).

Explaining what is to come, Dan said: “We have been asked to bring our Charleston back haven’t we.

“And we are also going to be judging.” He then turned to Nadiya and begged: “Can you please tell me what to say because I’m not really the best judge.”

Nadiya then replied: “What do you mean? You are the best judge!” Before retracting: “Just kidding”.

Dan and Nadiya performed their Charleston to Good Morning from Singin’ In The Rain for Strictly’s Musicals Week.

Dan captioned the clip: “We’re back! What a treat to return to the ballroom with @nadiyabychkova today.

“We have been asked to dance and do a bit of judging at the Burrow Strictly Ball in Leeds this weekend. Can’t wait to help raise loads of money at a brilliant event.

“By the way… I didn’t drop her.”

“Early excitement, great fun, chocolate biscuits, totally broken at the end.

“See you in Leeds partner.”
