Christine Lampard is relatively private when it comes to the two children she shares with husband, former footballer Frank Lampard, but she recently gave her 667k Instagram followers a glimpse of the tots with a rare – and adorable – snap.
The black and white image shows her daughter Patricia, three, holding hands with her son Freddie, one, in their strollers, although their faces weren’t revealed.
The Irish-born Loose Women presenter, 43, captioned the sweet snap: “Best friends (most of the time).”
The picture garnered many adoring comments from Christine’s followers, who were quick to praise the snap as “gorgeous”, “beautiful” and “cute”.
One person wrote: “Beautiful photo. Definitely one for framing.”
Another commented: “Oh my goodness. Absolutely gorgeous.”
One user lavished praise on Christine and Frank, saying: “Gorgeous, couldn’t be anything else with such wonderful parents.”
Christine, who often presents ITV’s Loose Women, and former Chelsea football ace Frank, also 43, married in a lavish ceremony in 2015 after being together for six years and engaged for four.
As well as sharing two young children with Frank, Christine is also stepmother to his two daughters, Isla, 14, and Luna, 16, from his previous relationship with Spanish model, Elen Rivas.
Christine told ITV’s Lorraine about how having her stepdaughters in her life since they were four and two helped to prepare her for motherhood when she welcomed daughter Patricia in 2018.
She said: "I have had the girls since they were four and two and they are 13 and 11 so I have been through all the toddler years, the primary and secondary school bit and teenagers are around the corner.
"That is preparation, although the baby years is all new to me! So I'll take it day by day really, like every other new mum.”
On ITV’s Loose Women, she praised the girls for helping her with Patricia when she was born, saying: “They’re brilliant.
"Even just simple things, like I'm going to nip to the shower for two minutes and I know I have the two of them there.
"They're at that age where I can trust them to do it. And they do adore her. It's like a live-in doll. They're fantastic, the two of them."
Whilst the couple are very private about sharing their youngest children’s faces on social media, Christine occasionally shares a cute snap, such as the tots wearing Everton shirts with their names printed on the back to celebrate Frank signing as Everton manager back in February.
