Cincinnati Music Festival Returns With Janet Jackson, Charlie Wilson & More

The Cincinnati Music Festival will return this summer after being forced to cancel for two years due to the pandemic. The organizers have announced a star-studded lineup that includes Janet Jackson and Charlie Wilson.

This year’s Cincinnati Music Festival will take place at Paul Brown Stadium on July 21 to 23.

BJ the Chicago Kid will headline on the opening night, followed by Wilson and Anthony Hamilton on July 22, and Jackson and The O’Jays will perform on the final evening.

Jackson was set to headline the 2020 Cincinnati Music Festival before it was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Toni! Tony! Tone!, Jonathan Butler, Tank, After 7, and Kirk Whalum will also perform at the festival.

“We are excited to be back, bringing the best acts back to Cincinnati for the 2022 Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G,” festival producer Joe Santangelo said in a release announcing the return of nearly six-decade-old gathering.

He added, “We will abide by any federal, local and state health guidelines that might be in place at that time, as our priority is to keep everyone safe. We will release more information as we get closer to the dates.”
