While she may not have won the 2021 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama TV Series, Olivia Colman did walk away a winner with everyone on Twitter. The Crown actor had the best reaction to her co-star Emma Corrin winning the award by doing a happy dance out of her seat (via Today). It was truly the cutest thing you could see at the virtual award show, and just proves that Colman is one of the coolest celebrities in Hollywood.
Not only is she stealing hearts, but she’s taking roles as well. Colman’s been starring as Queen Elizabeth II on The Crown since 2019, but before that, she won the Academy Award for her role in 2018’s The Favourite. She also starred in the Emmy-winning series Fleabag with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and 2020’s The Father, which earned her another Golden Globe nomination this year. It would be an understatement to say Colman is killing it in Hollywood, and she has an impressive $6 million net worth to show for it (via Celebrity Net Worth).
Olivia Colman just wants to keep acting
Olivia Colman’s IMDb credits would make most actors extremely jealous. Throughout the years, she’s appeared in many TV series, like Green Wing, Beautiful People, and even an episode of the British version of The Office. She’s also effortlessly made the jump from the television screen to the silver screen with movies like Hot Fuzz, The Lobster, The Iron Lady, and the aforementioned The Favourite. It seems she’s not stopping anytime soon either.
She has a whole slew of upcoming projects, like HBO’s crime drama Landscapers, the drama film Mothering Sunday with Colin Firth, and the BBC animated special Superworm with Doctor Who‘s Matt Smith. She’s really keeping herself busy, which explains the stellar net worth. Colman could even land herself another Oscar nomination this year for her performance in The Father, which would only skyrocket her even further into superstardom.
Though, regardless, Colman said when speaking to The Los Angeles Times that she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. When asked what was on her bucket list, she responded that she “just want[s] to keep working,” and her fans are totally okay with that.
