Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan has taken to Twitter to defend his “bad timing” on Strictly The Real Full Monty this evening. The charity strip-show is being aired in an effort to raise money for cancer and features former Strictly pros James and his wife Ola Jordan teaching the star-studded line-up how to perform while removing their clothes.
My timing isn’t that bad

In view of his 298,100 followers, the Dancing On Ice winner addressed the moment that appeared to be a mishap, as he seemingly danced out of time to the track that was playing on-air.
James wrote: “Obviously they weren’t allowed to use the track we danced to
“My timing isn’t that bad,” he added, alongside a laughing face emoji.
Following the star’s tweet, fans flocked to reassure him following his dance mishap.
S M Germain wrote: “So emotional and poignant to see how deeply you and Ola loved your Dad and how desperately you miss him.
“Doing this is such a wonderful way to honour him and I am sure he would be bursting with pride that you’re doing this for him.”
Cheryl Scribens added: “Such a joy to see you and Ola dancing again.”
“Loved it. You two are incredible,” penned Lisa Cadman.
The ITV show documents eight celebrities being taught how to bare all ahead of a charity strip show.
After revealing that Strictly star James would be teaching the men, Ashley soon shared that his wife Ola would be mentoring the women.
The host then started to explain to the couple his vision of James and Ola’s dance, in which he wanted to feature pictures of James’ dad, Allan, who sadly died of cancer this year.
However, upon the mention of her husband’s late father, Ola started crying and soon walked out of the room.
James told Ashley: “My mum and dad for her, I mean, she was as close to them as I was.”
Returning back to the studio, Ola said: “I’m sorry, he wasn’t just my father in law, he was a big part of my life for the last 21 years, so it is hard to lose someone like that,
“Also it is hard to see people that you love go through it as well.”
James’ dad Allan died in March after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain today James said: “My dad passed away in March and I was asking to do it initially but the thought of stripping naked wasn’t something I was thinking about.
But after chatting with Ola and thinking about it, I decided that it was something I wanted to do in memory of my dad.
“It is all about raising awareness of cancer and to make sure you go and get yourself checked.
“And that’s the reason why we all strip. It is basically to say to people, ‘If we can do this in front of millions of people, you can go to the doctors in privacy and get yourselves checked too.'”
