Katie Price says ‘dreams do come true’ as she makes singer comeback with X Factor star

Katie Price has said "dreams do come true" as she teased her return to music alongside a well-known former X Factor contestant.

The former glamour model turned TV personality took to Instagram this week to share some behind-the-scenes footage of her return to the world of music.

The short black and white clip shows Katie, 44, singing beside X Factor runner-up Scarlett Lee, who competed on the 2018 season of the hit show where she came in second behind winner Dalton Harris.

Now it appears as if Scarlett has teamed up with Katie to release some new music in time for Christmas.

The mum of five penned: "Dreams do come true. Never give up. Scarlett you are beautiful inside and out and an amazing singer and songwriter."

"I'm just so excited," she added.

In an earlier post, she also said: "This is going to be beautiful. I’m loving it."

The video shows Scarlett flashing a peace sign as she chanted “woop woop”, to which Katie replied: "You’re making me so happy."

True fans of the Brighton-born businesswoman will know that this isn’t the first time Katie has broken into the charts.

In 2004, Katie famously fought to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest with her song, Not Just Anybody.

Unfortunately, she was beaten by Javine Hylton, who subsequently came in 22nd place.

Then in 2006, Katie released a duet album alongside ex-husband Peter Andre entitled, A Whole New World.

Besides her future music career, Katie is also working to break back into the reality TV world with her new series alongside fiancé Carl Woods.

But the move has sparked some concerns among friends and family who question whether Carl and Katie’s relationship can survive the stress that comes with such a task.

A source told OK: “Katie and Carl’s relationship has been on the rocks after a dramatic year, and behind closed doors Katie’s family are worried for her.

"The relationship has been so unsteady and they are scared she is going to get hurt again.

“It’s a project they’re both really excited about, but the pressures that come with filming a new TV show together can be extremely daunting. As a couple who have had many ups and downs, they do not need any more pressure.”
