Kristen Stewart Shares a Laugh With Léa Seydoux at Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Kristen Stewart and her co-star Léa Seydoux have a laugh while attending the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 23) in Cannes, France.

The two ladies stepped out for the premiere of their upcoming movie Crimes of the Future, which reportedly received a six minute standing ovation at the festival.

Also in attendance were their co-stars Viggo Mortensen and Scott Speedman, as well as writer and director David Cronenberg.

Here’s a synopsis: As the human species adapts to a synthetic environment, the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice (Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Mortensen), celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances. Timlin (Stewart), an investigator from the National Organ Registry, obsessively tracks their movements, which is when a mysterious group is revealed… Their mission – to use Saul’s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution.

Crimes of the Future will debut in theaters on Friday, June 3rd.
